Douglas Fir Forest

30.5" wide x 12" high, this art piece is comprised of hundreds of cuts of green, silver, gold, tan, and brown irridized and non irridized glass which make up the trunks of this forest. The canopy and foreground is comprised of multiple layers of powder and frit.  A result of our many, many hikes through the gorgeous forests on this island, and studying them closely through multiple photographs.
